Baler Push Block Repair Example:
This recycled paper insulation mill baler block was fatigued from decades of operation. Surface level welding repairs over the large crack in this inch thick plate member proved ineffective. The repair process involved oxy fuel cutting open the crack through the entirety of the plate. A backing strip below and runoff tabs ensured there was nothing but perfect weld throughout the repair area. Inter pass cleaning was achieved with a needle scaler due to the confined nature of the inside of this block. Within three hours from phone call to finished product, this push block was ready to get back to work.
